United Youth Football and Cheer, Incorporated (YFL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is provide a safe and structured environment to enable all young people to benefit from participation in team sports and youth activities offered by YFL.

YFL will stress the importance of faith, family, education, and teamwork. YFL will assist parents and educators in developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being by espousing the virtues of the 5 core values, Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership. The YFL program is designed to develop superior students and citizens, as well as athletes.

Our organization has established its rules and operational procedures to ensure that every child who wishes to participate, regardless of size, financial means, race, creed or national origin, is included in a safe and fair environment where their best interests and education are put first. All rules will be applied firmly without compromising our core values. This will be achieved by drawing on the experience and wisdom of a National Scholastic Advisory Council and National Board of Governors. The National Scholastic Advisory Council will be comprised of educational leaders who will oversee programs created to foster academic success for all participants. The National Board of Governors will be comprised of leaders from all major conferences who will uphold the integrity of the organization they represent and "UNITE" all of youth football. United is not just our name it is what we do.

Our Objectives Are:

• To encourage and accept all who are interested in participating in Football, Cheerleading, Dance and Step.
• To ensure that an emphasis is placed on the importance of Family, Education and Team.
• To ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.
• To reinforce life-long values of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well-being at home, in the classroom and on the playing field.
• To provide programs to aid the struggling student.
• To provide a Play-It-Forward program where one program can donate goods and services to another.
• To recognize all those who, through their acts and deeds, make their communities better.
  

How We Will Provide Positive Experiences:

• YFL core programs are all inclusive with no tryouts or cutting of rosters.
• YFL core programs will mandate everyone actively participates under mandatory minimum play rules.
• YFL will partner with ongoing educational programs for coaches that use positive encouragement to teach sport/position specific fundamentals.
• YFL will allow on field instruction for all younger age levels.
• YFL will encourage academic awards and recognition for both achievement and improvement.
• YFL will encourage awards and recognition for leadership and positive team impact.
• Provide challenger programs whenever possible.
  

How Our Programs Provide A Safe Playing Environment:

• YFL Grade Based Division groups players by their grade/maturity level. Grade based divisions are a proven system schools and private educational institutions have used for years.
• YFL Age and Weight Division groups players by age and weight levels.
• YFL requires all rules regarding safety equipment, contained in the National Federation of High Schools, be adhered to.
• YFL, in conjunction with its partners, provide Coaching Clinics and Risk Management Training.
• YFL will strictly enforce its national rule book.
• YFL employ full-time staff who support all members and assist in sound policy creation.
• YFL will provide guidelines for coach to player ratios.

United Youth Football and Cheer, Inc. is committed to insure that the needs of its members are met and that their voice and opinions are heard. United Youth Football has structured its football program with its own National Board of Governors and NFL Player/Professional Advisory Council. These two boards will insure that our football programs are kept cutting edge in all aspects, prominently promoted, and their accomplishments are celebrated correctly. United Youth Football will develop and deliver special motivational and character development programs for all of our football programs. The United Youth Football and Cheer League is also committed to Highlight its Cheer, Dance and Step as prominently as its Football programs. To insure the Cheer programs do not get lost in the prominence of the game of football the United Youth Football and Cheer League has structured its Cheer program with its own National Board of Cheer Directors (which includes Dance and Step) and a National Cheer Dance and Step Advisory Council. These two boards will insure that our Cheer programs are kept cutting edge in all aspects of the program, prominently promoted, and their accomplishments are celebrated correctly. The Cheer programs will also be included in all motivational and character development programs.
